Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

The world of Spaceglunk is built by hand-written procedural code — every 3D model, texture and sound is generated by algorithms at runtime, not by AI. During development, a generative AI assistant was used to help write the game’s code and to draft some of its in-game text, along with this store page, all reviewed and edited by the developer. No AI runs while you play, and nothing in the game is generated live.

Reasoning

The disclosure states AI helped write code and draft some in-game text, so AI touches shipped content. Art, audio and world assets are procedural algorithms, not AI, and no AI runs during play. One release in 12 months with a single disclosure gives no volume signal.

Against: The developer explicitly distinguishes procedural generation from AI and says all AI output was reviewed and edited; the game is unreleased, so no player-visible evidence exists yet.
