What the developer says

ELEVADOOM is a solo-developed project. The game design, levels, programming, writing and humor are my own work. Generative AI tools were used to assist in creating some visual assets, music, sound effects and the elevator voice. These assets were reviewed and integrated manually. No content is generated by AI during gameplay.

From the “AI Generated Content Disclosure” on the Steam store page, quoted as written. First seen by us on Oct 28, 2026.

Reasoning

The disclosure states AI assisted several asset types but not design, levels or programming. Assets were reviewed and integrated manually, and nothing is AI-generated during play. The developer has released no games in the last 12 months, so there is no volume-release signal.

Against: AI touches multiple asset categories (art, audio, voice), which could push scope higher, but the developer frames it as assistance within a solo project.
