Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

School Dream uses generative AI in two ways. Live-generated during play: your classmates' replies are written by an AI language model while you play, so they can respond to whatever you type or say. The game also uses AI to write the summaries of your dreams and of what classmates did off-screen, and to generate the background scenery for some after-school destinations. Because of this, what a character says can vary between playthroughs and is not pre-written by the developer. What you type is sent to our server to generate replies, and an internet connection is required.

Reasoning

The disclosure states AI writes character replies in real time and generates summaries and some scenery. This is live generation central to the game's interaction, so scope is core. The developer has only one game, not yet released, with no volume signals of mass production.

Against: The game is not yet released and the developer has no release cadence; the disclosure describes deliberate design choices rather than volume output, and other assets appear hand-made.
