Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

This game is made by one person. To make a game of this scope possible for a solo developer, AI tools were used during development: some of the art (e.g. illustrations, backgrounds and visual-effect elements) and some of the music were created with their help. Every piece was reviewed and hand-picked by the developer: most went through several revisions, some through a dozen or more, and anything that fell short was redone from scratch. The game does not generate any content with AI while it is running.

From the “AI Generated Content Disclosure” on the Steam store page, quoted as written. First seen by us on Oct 28, 2026.

Reasoning

The disclosure states AI helped create some art and music, so AI-generated assets ship to players, but most of the game is human-made. The developer describes review and repeated revision of each piece, and no live AI generation. Only one game, unreleased, so no volume-release pattern.

Against: The developer claims heavy hand-revision and redoing of weak assets, which points to real effort rather than mass production.
