What the developer says
This game uses artwork made with AI image generation tools during development, including character portraits, title and interface art, maps, battlefield backgrounds and props, the source art for battlefield units, technique icons and ink-effect textures. Every AI image was selected by the developer and then cropped, cleaned of garbled text and fake seals, color-matched, split into parts and animated before going into the game. Unit walking and attack animations are generated procedurally from a bone rig. Story dialogue, character biographies and technique descriptions were written and finalized by the developer, with AI writing assistance used during drafting. The story is adapted from the classic Chinese novel Water Margin. The game does not generate any content with AI while it is running. Music, sound effects and fonts are not AI-generated.
