What the developer says
Generative AI was used as a development assistant on Ink Left: primarily to help write and review the game's source code, to help work through level design, and to help draft and localize in-game text (Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German). All of that output was reviewed and edited by the developer. Everything you see and hear — the lines, the paper texture, particles, the characters, sound effects and music — is generated procedurally by the game's own code and offline audio synthesis scripts; the store images are likewise drawn by a procedural drawing script. The project uses no AI-generated images, textures, animation or voice acting. The game does not use generative AI while you play. No player data is sent anywhere.

No AI-generated images, textures, animation, or voice ship to players. Procedural art and audio come from the game's own scripts, indicating real development effort. Against: AI touched in-game text drafting and level design, which players may see, so scope is not fully 'none'; the game is unreleased with no reviews yet. |
