What the developer says
Characters, character effects, backgrounds, floor tiles, store capsule art, most card icons and the achievement art were made from source images generated with an image model during development. People chose among the candidates and checked every frame, and our tools reduced them to pixel art with fixed color palettes (pre-generated content). UI parts, small icons, weapon effects and the nine main-weapon icons were drawn pixel by pixel in code, and the on-screen word graphics (GAME OVER, RESULT, etc.) were traced from the Galmuri font. The game does not generate any content with AI while it is running.
