Some illustrations in Glimtide (the welcome picture, the pictures of evolution turns and tide events, coin packs and the store artwork) were made with image generation tools and picked by the developer. The island and its creatures are drawn by the game's own code. The island's chronicle is written by the game itself. An AI language model retells the more important entries as short lines in English and Russian. It only sees the chronicle text and is told to keep every fact. It makes no decisions in the game: the glims and the world follow the game's own rules.
