Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

The game is made by a single developer, with help from two friends. I used generative AI for some of the artwork (backgrounds, portraits, icons, book covers, record sleeves, skies) and for some of the music, selecting, editing and integrating every asset by hand. The 3D models were bought from their creators, taken from free libraries or made in Blender, and the sound effects come from free sound libraries: all authors are credited in the game.

Reasoning

The disclosure states AI generated several art types and some music, so AI content ships to players. But the developer describes hand selection, editing and integration, plus bought or Blender-made 3D models and credited free sound effects, indicating real production effort. No volume-release signal: zero games in the last 12 months.

Against: AI covers multiple asset types (art and music), which could push scope higher, but the game is not yet released and shows no low-effort volume pattern.
