What the developer says
Crônicas Improváveis uses generative artificial intelligence in two ways. During development: AI tools assisted in the creation of visual assets (portraits, scene illustrations, interface elements, and icons), the opening video, music, sound effects, written content, and translations. The campaigns are pre-structured narrative works, with plots, characters, conflicts, scenes, objectives, and events defined under the developer's creative direction. Artificial intelligence is used as a production support tool, while the development, organization, review, and finalization of the campaigns are overseen by the developer. Stories are not randomly generated during gameplay. During gameplay: an AI Game Master generates the narration for each turn, portrays characters, responds to the player's dialogue and actions, and presents suggested actions. An AI-generated voice can also read the narration aloud. The campaign's structure and progression are controlled by the game engine, not by artificial intelligence. Mechanical outcomes, including dice rolls, damage, success, and failure, are determined by a rules engine based on SRD 5.1. The AI Game Master guides the narrative experience within the pre-written campaign, without creating new storylines or freely modifying its structure and fundamental events. Content generation is subject to safety restrictions and predefined limits established by the game, including mechanisms that prevent the generation of sexual content.
