Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

Some content in the game was created with generative AI tools inside the Unity Editor: the 3D models of the people (the gardener, the fishmonger and the dock worker), which were made from AI-generated reference images and then rigged and animated by the developer, plus some of the sound effects and the background music. The cats and dogs are hand-made models bought from the Unity Asset Store, not AI-generated. All level design, gameplay and code direction are by the developer. The game does not generate any AI content while you play.

Reasoning

The disclosure lists AI use for human character models, some sound effects, and background music, while cats, dogs, level design, and code are developer-made. That is several asset types but not most of the game, and the developer rigged and animated the models themselves. One release in 12 months and no volume pattern, so effort risk is low.

Against: All four of the developer's games disclose AI, which could hint at a pattern, but there is no evidence of rapid volume releases or low-effort output.
