What the developer says
During development, we used generative AI assistance: the base artwork for character and monster sprites was AI-generated, then converted into the game's pixel-art style with our own tool and checked frame by frame by hand. The game does not generate any AI content at runtime and makes no network requests; it ships with fixed sprite sheets and fixed sound files. Sound effects were made with jsfxr, a procedural sound generator, not AI. There is no voice and no music. All AI-assisted material was reviewed before release, and we take responsibility for it not infringing third-party rights.

| AI judgment deepseek-flash | Partial AI · solid production, medium confidenceReasoningThe disclosure states AI generated base sprite artwork, a visible in-game asset, so scope is parts rather than none. The developer converted it with their own tool and reviewed frames by hand, and sound is procedural jsfxr, not AI. No runtime generation, no network requests, and no volume-release pattern; game is unreleased with no reviews. Against: Hand conversion and frame-by-frame review, custom tooling, and procedural audio suggest substantial human effort; the game is not yet released, so review-based effort signals are absent. |
