What the developer says
Halloween 2026 contains AI-generated content that was created during development. Nothing is generated while you play. The visitors at the door are AI-generated videos, and their voices and some other voices were made with AI voice tools. All of the music is AI-generated. AI image tools were used for the visitor artwork, the jigsaw puzzle pictures, the photos on the phone and other in-game images, and many of the 3D models were generated from reference images with AI, then cleaned up and assembled by hand. Some of the in-game text was written with AI help, and the game's code was written with the help of AI coding assistants. The house, the gameplay, the scares and how everything fits together were designed by the developer. The store page art, screenshots and trailer use the game's own footage and AI-generated key art.
