What the developer says

No AI content is generated during gameplay, and ShotMachine does not connect to AI services. Generative AI was used during development to create pre-made sound effects, music, character voices, many enemy and prop models, and some textures, map icons and background panoramas. AI tools also assisted with portions of the dialogue and in-game text. Generated 3D models were subsequently rigged, textured and assembled for use in the game. All of this content is included in the shipped game.

Reasoning

The disclosure states AI created several major asset types: audio, voice, many 3D models, textures, and writing. This covers most of what players see and hear, so scope is major. The developer has only one game and no rapid release pattern, so effort risk stays medium rather than high.

Against: Generated models were subsequently rigged, textured and assembled by hand, and no AI runs during gameplay, suggesting real post-processing effort.
