What the developer says
Some 3D models of characters and objects were generated with Tripo, an AI tool, from prompts and reference images, then reduced, repaired and rigged by hand. The in-game text and its English translation were drafted with the help of an AI assistant and reviewed by the developer. Nothing is generated by AI while you play: the voices are synthesized by the game's own code, and the Gustave Doré engravings are public domain reproductions.

This is limited to parts of the game, with clear signs of manual finishing. The developer has one game and no rapid release pattern. Against: The developer explicitly says nothing is AI-generated during play, and voices come from the game's own code; the engravings are public domain reproductions. |
