Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

Tamagong uses generative AI in three places during development: Translation: the game's eight languages were translated with AI assistance. Audio: some sound effects and ambient tracks were produced with AI assisted tools. Art & Visuals: some art work began from AI generated output, which was then edited by hand for style consistency. Concept images were also generated as reference while designing monsters and locations.

Reasoning

The disclosure covers AI-assisted translation, some audio, and art that began as AI output then was hand-edited. This is limited to supporting parts, with hand editing and concept reference suggesting real development effort. The developer has released no games in the last 12 months, so volume-release risk is low.

Against: Art and audio are player-facing, and the game is unreleased with no reviews to gauge scope; AI involvement could be broader than the disclosure implies.
