Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

AI-assisted image tools were used during development to create fixed assets that are baked into the build as image files and then cleaned up by the developer: - Pixel-art sprites for Gael, the monsters, bosses and animals, including their walk and knock-down frames - Pixel-art sprites for buildings, small props and UI icons - The opening story illustrations, the title illustration and the store page key art (capsules and library images) - Drafts of some in-game text and the EN / RU / JA localization, reviewed by the developer Game design, code, the map generator and the user interface are human-authored. The ground tiles, water, trees and rocks are drawn by code. All music and sound effects are synthesized by the game's own code - there are no audio files and no AI model is involved. The pixel font is Fusion Pixel (SIL Open Font License). The trailer and screenshots are captured directly from the game. No AI model runs while the game is playing. The build is fully offline.

Reasoning

The disclosure lists AI-generated sprites for characters, monsters, bosses, buildings, props, UI icons, and illustrations, covering most visible art. Code, map generation, UI, and synthesized audio are human-authored, showing real development effort. The developer released 5 games in 12 months with all 6 disclosing AI, but the game is only a month old with no reviews, so volume signals are limited.

Against: Human-authored code, design, map generator, UI, and fully code-synthesized audio; assets were cleaned up by the developer, and no AI runs during play.
