Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

Generative AI tools were used to create and refine some pre-generated promotional artwork for SoundStone, including imagery used in Steam capsule and library assets and related logo treatments. Final selections, composition, editing, branding, and presentation were directed and refined by the developer. SoundStone does not generate AI content during gameplay. Its monuments, cymatic patterns, terrain, lighting, and music-reactive fractal skies are produced by deterministic and procedural systems implemented within the game.

Reasoning

The disclosure limits AI use to pre-generated promotional and store artwork, not in-game content. The developer states gameplay visuals and music-reactive systems are deterministic and procedural. No volume-release pattern: zero games in the last 12 months and not yet released.

Against: The game is unreleased, so in-game content cannot be verified beyond the developer's statement.
