Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

The six characters' 3D models, including their skeletons and base animation takes, were created with the AI 3D tool Tripo, then set up, animated in-game and given extra facial expressions with our own tools. The bonsai pot in the menu was made with Meshy. The app icon and the logo shown when the game starts, and some store and library illustrations, were made with an AI image generator from our art direction and the in-game characters; all screenshots and trailers show real gameplay. The background music was composed with an AI coding assistant as editable scores, reviewed by the developer and synthesized by our own code; the sound effects and the characters' wordless voices are synthesized by our own code. Generative AI also helped draft parts of the store-page text. The game does not generate any content with AI while you play and does not connect to external AI services. In the optional Full mode, a small image classifier that we trained on synthetic desktops runs only on your PC to tell windows and buttons apart; it creates no content, and nothing from your screen is saved or sent.

Reasoning

The disclosure says all six character models, skeletons and base animation takes came from Tripo, and the menu bonsai from Meshy, so major asset types are AI-made. Music, icon, logo and some illustrations also used AI. Custom animation, facial expressions, sound synthesis and a locally trained classifier show real development work.

Against: Developer added own animation, facial expressions, synthesized audio and a self-trained classifier; no live AI generation; only one release, so no volume pattern.
