Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

PLEASE CONFIRM THE DECEASED contains pre-generated AI content: background plates and environment/prop art created with generative image tools, and music and sound effects created with generative audio tools, all curated, edited and art-directed by a human. One short looping animation of the body bay was made from one of those plates with a generative video tool. Its narrative text, rules and case files are human–AI co-written and human-edited under the author's direction; the game design is the author's. All documents, forms, stamps and user-interface elements are drawn programmatically. No AI content is generated at runtime, and the game contains no AI-generated depictions of real people.

Reasoning

The disclosure states most visual asset types (backgrounds, props, animation) and audio (music, SFX) are AI-generated, plus co-written narrative text. That covers several major asset types, so scope is major. Human curation, editing, and design direction show real effort, and the studio has only one recent release, so effort risk stays medium.

Against: Human art direction, editing, and programmatic UI suggest substantial hands-on production; only one game in the last 12 months, not a volume-release pattern.
