What the developer says
HOPIATE was designed and directed by one developer. AI tools (Claude) helped write the code and some of the text, including in-game copy and this store page. The game's idea, design, characters and jokes are mine, and every line was chosen and edited by me. There is no AI-generated art, music or voice, and nothing is generated by AI while you play.

The developer describes a solo, hand-directed design with no AI art, music or voice. No volume-release signals: zero games in the last 12 months and this is their first title. Against: The game is unreleased, so shipped content can't be verified; AI-written in-game text could be more extensive than 'some'. |
