What the developer says
RUSTCAN includes a limited live AI assistant powered by a self-hosted AI model operated by RUSTCAN. During gameplay, players can ask the assistant questions about the game, its features, gameplay mechanics, and general informational topics. Player-submitted text is sent to our server, processed by the locally hosted AI model, and a generated text response is returned to the player in-game. The AI is limited in scope and is primarily intended to provide informational assistance. It does not generate images, video, audio, game assets, or other persistent game content. RUSTCAN uses automated filtering and moderation rules designed to detect and block inappropriate, harmful, illegal, or abusive requests and generated responses. Interactions may also be reviewed when necessary to identify misuse and improve these safeguards. The AI uses a relatively small, self-hosted language model and does not rely on a third-party generative AI service for live responses.
