What the developer says
The story, characters, original Korean script, and game design of The Fifth Name were created by a human author. Generative AI was used to create visual and audio assets and to assist with localization, as described below. Pre-generated AI content in this game: - Visual assets. Backgrounds, character art, store capsule art, key art, and title-logo imagery were created using OpenAI image-generation tools. These assets were selected, edited, composited, and finalized by the developer. - Audio. Ambient audio, sound effects, and background music were created using ElevenLabs Sound Effects. These files were trimmed, looped, mixed, and finalized by the developer. - Localization. Translations from the original Korean are produced from AI-assisted first drafts, then reviewed, corrected, and approved by a human proficient in each target language before being included in the game. No AI-generated content is produced during gameplay, and the game does not connect to an external AI service. All AI-assisted content is pre-generated during development and included as fixed content in the shipped build.

| AI judgment deepseek-flash | Major AI · solid production, high confidenceReasoningThe disclosure states visual assets (backgrounds, character art, key art) and audio (music, SFX, ambience) were AI-generated, covering several major asset types. Story, script, and design are human-authored, and localization drafts were human-reviewed. Developer has one game, no rapid-release pattern, so effort risk is not high. Against: Human authorship of story and design, human editing of all AI assets, and human review of localization point to real production effort; no volume-release signals. |
