Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

Generative AI was used in the development of this game. Most 2D assets (characters, familiars, cards, backgrounds, UI, effects, etc.), including store page images, were created with image-generation AI, then curated, edited, and retouched by the developer. Some 3D models (character pieces, buildings, stages, etc.) were generated with AI or built with AI-written programs, then curated and adjusted by the developer. Character voices were produced with AI speech synthesis, then curated and adjusted by the developer. Some text, such as card flavor text and character lines, as well as translations (e.g., English), was drafted with AI and reviewed and edited by the developer. AI-assisted tools were also used in development processes such as programming. No AI content is generated at runtime. BOT opponents are rule-based programs, not generative AI.

Reasoning

The disclosure states most 2D assets, some 3D models, voices, and some writing were AI-generated. This covers several major asset types, so AI is a large part of what ships. The developer has only one game, not yet released, so there is no volume-release pattern.

Against: The developer says AI output was curated, edited, and retouched, and no AI runs at runtime; this suggests real post-processing effort rather than raw generation.
