What the developer says
The game's period artwork was created with OpenAI's image generation: character portraits, the document plates and photographs on the desk, the paper stocks and document chrome the pages are printed on, and the background textures behind the game. I directed and reviewed every image, checked each one several times and edited it where needed. The store page art is composited from the same artwork. The game's written content, meaning the documents the player searches and reads and the text of the interface, was written with the help of large language models under my direction. I read and checked every text several times and edited it where needed before it entered the game. No text is generated while the game runs. Sound effects and the ambient bed are produced by a deterministic synthesis program (oscillators, filtered noise and math-based DSP), not by a generative-AI audio model and from no sampled or library audio. Fonts, engine and runtime are non-AI third-party components under their own licenses (see THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt).

| AI judgment deepseek-flash | Major AI · solid production, high confidenceReasoningThe disclosure states AI image generation produced most visible art types and LLMs helped write the in-game documents and interface text. That covers several major asset types, so scope is major. The developer has one game, no rapid release pattern, and describes directed, reviewed, edited output, so effort risk stays low. Against: Developer reports directing, reviewing and editing every image and text, and audio is deterministic synthesis rather than generative AI; only one game exists, so no volume-release pattern. |
