What the developer says
Arcadia Unbound does not use AI to generate player-facing dialogue, story content, quests, localization, music, sound effects, or voice acting. Arcadia Unbound uses a locally running language model as part of the AURA Framework to interpret player speech during specific conversation sequences. The model analyzes player intent and conversational context, then selects from developer-authored dialogue, events, and narrative outcomes. All player-facing content is creatively directed, authored, reviewed, refined, integrated, and curated by the development team, with professional voice actors performing character voices where applicable. No AI system generates dialogue, story events, audio, or player-facing content at runtime. Like many modern development teams, Arcadia Unbound uses AI-assisted tools during development for artwork workflows, including research, early-stage exploration, and upscaling certain existing assets. A full list of contributors and production credits is available on our website.

| AI judgment deepseek-flash | Partial AI · solid production, medium confidenceReasoningThe disclosure says a local model runs during specific conversations, but only selects from authored dialogue and events, so runtime AI is limited. AI-assisted artwork workflows and upscaling mean some shipped assets may be AI-touched. Professional voice acting, authored content, and full credits point to real production effort. Against: The developer states no player-facing dialogue, story, audio, or voice is AI-generated, and the runtime model only interprets intent rather than generating content. |
