What the developer says
Double Skunk is developed by one person with AI tools used across production, and all of it is pre-generated and baked into the build. The character portraits, powerup and card art, and other illustration were generated with image models and then selected, cropped, keyed and composited by hand. The short animated scenes, where the game's characters act out a card or a big hand, were generated with a video model from that art and then keyed, trimmed and checked one by one. The music, sound effects and spoken voice lines were generated with audio and text-to-speech models, auditioned, and edited into the game's audio pipeline. Some in-game flavor text (rival dialogue, tutorial lines, item descriptions) was drafted with a language model and edited by the developer. Source code was written with an AI coding assistant under the developer's direction and review. The game itself contains no AI model and makes no calls to any AI service. No content is generated during play, and nothing a player does is sent to an AI system.

| AI judgment deepseek-flash | AI-heavy · AI scope: major · effort risk: mediumReasoningThe disclosure states AI image, video, audio and text models produced most asset types players see and hear. All content is pre-generated and hand-edited, and code was AI-assisted under developer direction. Only one game exists, so no volume-release pattern. Against: The developer hand-selected, cropped, keyed and edited assets, and no AI runs during play; this suggests real production effort rather than automated output. |
