What the developer says
Chains Of Clues uses generative AI tools for part of its visual assets. Specifically: — Some 3D models used as in-game criminal evidence (mainly the more complex props) were created with the help of AI-assisted 3D generation tools, then reviewed, corrected and integrated manually into the game in Unreal Engine 5. — The suspect portraits displayed on the detective office computer were created with AI image generation tools. They do not depict real people. — Some of the evidence images shown in the in-game agency reports were created with AI image generation tools. All AI-generated assets were reviewed, edited and approved by the developer before being included in the build, and are shipped as static assets. The game does not generate any content at runtime: there is no live-generated AI content of any kind. Gameplay, code, level design, case writing and all other content were created by hand by the developer.

| AI judgment deepseek-flash | Partial AI · mixed signals, medium confidenceReasoningThe disclosure states AI was used for specific in-game assets: some 3D evidence models, suspect portraits and report images. It also says these were reviewed and edited, and that code, level design and writing were hand-made. The developer has only one recent release, so volume signals are weak. Against: The developer describes manual review and integration of every AI asset, and no runtime generation; the game has no reviews yet, so player reception is unknown. |
