What the developer says
Margin of Error is designed, directed and finished by a solo developer. Most of the pixel art, sound effects and music come from custom procedural tools built for this game with AI-assisted coding. I then hand-correct the art pixel by pixel and tune the audio by ear. Some game systems I programmed myself. AI tools assisted with other parts of the programming, early drafts of some story text, and first-pass translations. I reviewed and rewrote every line of English and Indonesian dialogue myself. The other languages are machine-assisted and checked with tools, and I will improve them based on player feedback. The game design, characters, world and story are my own work.

| AI judgment deepseek-flash | Partial AI · solid production, medium confidenceReasoningThe disclosure states AI-assisted tools produced most pixel art, sound effects and music, with manual pixel-level correction and audio tuning. Programming and early story drafts also had AI help, but the developer rewrote all dialogue and authored design, characters and world. Solo development with hand-finishing and no volume-release pattern points to real effort. Against: Art and audio are largely tool-generated, and translations are machine-assisted; the developer commits to improving them based on feedback. |
