What the developer says

With the optional free Resident Chat DLC installed: Resident Chat generates residents' dialogue live. When you type to a resident, a small language model running entirely on your own PC (Qwen3-4B-Instruct-2507, through llama.cpp) writes their reply, plus a few short notes so they remember you next time. It only generates text, and the model needs no internet connection: nothing you type is sent to any AI service; what residents remember is kept in your save, which goes to your own Steam Cloud if you have it on. Replies are kept in character, and swearing and out-of-character lines are filtered out. You can turn it off in the Esc menu at any time.

Reasoning

The disclosure states AI generates in-game dialogue live during play, which is core-scope generation. The base game's other assets aren't described as AI-made, and the developer has only one release, so volume signals are absent. Low review count is noted but doesn't meet the high-effort-risk threshold.

Against: AI dialogue is confined to an optional free DLC and runs locally; the base game's art, audio and writing are not disclosed as AI-generated, and the developer has just one release.
