What the developer says
As a self funded, mostly solo indie dev genAI has been used during development for prototyping and concept art as well as promotional/marketing materials. I hire artists when and where I can based on the state of the project. All art in game before and during early access should be considered a WIP and not final. It is my goal that sales during EA can continue to fund hiring artists to update/replace as much of this content as possible before v1.0.
