Production signals

Facts about who made the game and how players received it. They don't depend on AI, and they help tell a carefully made game that used some AI apart from mass-produced ones.

What the developer says

We do not use generative AI for models, textures, animations, audio, etc. All visuals are handmade with love! To allow quickly updating the game during Early Access, we use a combination of machine translation, human review, and entirely human authored localization. The current state of languages is: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Russian are mostly human authored; French and Spanish are machine translated with human authored revisions; German is machine translated. Our goal is to increase the amount of human authored localization over time.

Reasoning

The disclosure states no generative AI for art, audio, or animation, but confirms machine translation for several languages, which players see in-game. That is a limited, supporting use, not core content. The game has 1281 reviews at 81% positive and a single release, showing real development effort rather than volume output.

Against: Machine translation touches player-visible text, so it is not zero AI; the developer says human review and revision are applied and aims to expand human-authored localization.
