What the developer says
The game's development had been on hold for several years. With the help of AI tools, I was able to resume and complete the project, mainly during the programming, debugging, and bug-fixing stages. AI was also used to translate the game's text. The achievement icons were created using AI, as was the texture for a medieval banner. The potion and key icons were also generated using AI, based on hand-drawn sketches I created myself. The most substantial use of AI in this project was in programming. Most of the game was programmed manually, but I used AI to help finalize the code, debug, and fix issues in preparation for release.

Programming and translation also used AI assistance, but most code was manual. This is limited supporting use, not a large share of shipped content. Against: Developer has only one game and no release cadence suggesting volume; icons were based on the developer's own sketches, indicating human direction. |
